MATKA 2010 Nordic Travel Fair

Estonian Handbook took part in the travel fair MATKA 2010. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival at the fair in Helsinki and departed with newly made acquaintances and memorable experiences.

Our goal was to introduce Estonia via our new edition of Estonian Handbook - a travel guide which contains reliable info regarding all kinds of tourism opportunities in Estonia. The handbook provides useful information about the various regions of Estonia, transportation, accommodation and active holiday possibilities as well as sights, tourist information centres and much more.

The tiny patch of land on the coast of the Baltic Sea called Estonia is an attractive and pleasant place to spend your holidays, pass your free time, get down to business, unwind or put yourself to the test - all this and more can be found in our book, on our CD or by visiting our website at http://www.estonianhandbook.eu

MATKA 2010 Nordic Travel Fair was visited by 81,537 guests of whom 17,868 were professionals.

And what about the feedback we received?

The overall response was positive.

Our goal was simple and clear which ensured our success in distributing each and every copy of Estonian Handbook.

Competitors regarded us with some apprehension; nevertheless, wished us the best of luck. Professionals were quite intrigued by our product. Its advantages, current developments, our future plans regarding the brand, our general opinion of the travel fair and received feedback were of great interest to them. We also made many new contacts and enjoyed lively chats with existing business partners.

Our books and CDs found a new home in various Estonian companies, foreign travel agencies and in the hands of many travel enthusiasts, school teachers, foreign exchange students, etc.
